23rd edition of the Festival – the most important event of March!

We won in „The Lodz Success”! On 24 April our director Ms Ewa Pilawska collected the award for the 23rd edition of International Festival of Plays Pleasant and Unpleasant as the most important event of March.

The Festival was nominated in „The Lodz Success” plebiscite by panel consisting of heads of TV TOYA, Radio Eska and „Gazeta Wyborcza” as well as „Piotrkowska 97” pub owner. But it was you – viewers, listeners and readers – who voted for us and decided we were the winners. Thank you very much for your votes!

- An excellent „Triumph of the Will” by Paweł Demirski and Monika Strzępka opened the 23rd edition of International Festival of Plays Pleasant and Unpleasant. Crowds in Powszechny Theatre and standing ovations prove that theatre has still an enormous power – read the TV TOYA website about the plebiscite nomination for the Festival.

We remind you that the Festival has not come to an end. There are two previews ahead. On 20 May we invite you to „Bakersfield Mist” by Stephen Sachs directed by Justyna Celeda and on 24 June we will present „Dryl” by Wojciech Bruszewski directed by Marta Streker. See you then!
