23rd Festival: Rogucki Concert
On 26 March we could see and listen to “Rogucki Concert” that took place on Big Stage of Powszechny Theatre. But it is not the end of the 23rd edition of the Festival! There are two previews ahead of us!
Music fans know Piotr Rogucki as the lead singer of rock band COMA and a solo performer. In his stage performances he is combining elements of poetry, rock and theatre. He received many awards at artistic songs festivals, including 2nd prize at the Student Song Festival in Cracow in 2002, Grand Prix at the Stage Song Review in 2004, Grand Prix at the Castle Meetings Festival in Olsztyn in 2004. He also received the Fryderyk Awards for the best rock album in 2004, 2006, 2009, 2011 and for The Best Artist in 2011. He also received the Grzegorz Ciechowski Artistic Award of the City of Toruń. He was a juror in three editions of the show “Must Be The Music” in Polsat TV. He released solo albums “Loki – Vision of Sound” (2011) - a concept album telling the story based on the play by Bertolt Brecht's “Baal”; “95-2003” (2012), a collection of his juvenile productions in modern arrangements; “JPŚliwa” (2015) the impossible and utopian album, kind of a challenge.
During the concert Piotr Rogucki and his band presented the material from his previous albums.
