Energy of Culture: Ewa Pilawska the Person of 2015!

The Powszechny Theatre director Ewa Pilawska has been awarded the title of “Energy of Culture: The Person of 2015”! The gala ceremony took place in Wytwórnia Club tonight. – The Powszechny Theatre director is a citizen of Lodz by her her own choice in spite of many interesting offers she received from other theatres in other cities. She is the founder of International Festival of Plays Pleasant and Unpleasant, the creator of the Reading theatre for people with poor eyesight and blind, the author of many original projects – said Barbara Mrozińska on behalf of the jury while presenting the award to Ewa Pilawska .

Our director is the first woman to receive the award in its five years’ history.
