How to bite „Tu-wim”

The first workshop from the series „How to bite Tu-wim” took place on 15 November, after the morning performance of „Tu-wim”. 90 students from grammar and secondary schools participated in the workshop.

It was an exceptional lesson of literature and theatre. Actor Andrzej Jakubas told about life and works of Julian Tuwim. On the Big Stage students read Tuwim’s letters, poems and aphorisms. Andrzej Jakubas told them also about the theatre’s painted curtain and showed them round the theatre. On the Small Stage two actors playing in „Tu-wim” conducted workshops on basic actors’ exercise. The participants produced a theatrical study based on “Lokomotywa” (“Locomotive”) by Tuwim. The outcome was wonderful – congratulations!
