Improvisation in Norwegian

Teachers and students from Spain, Italy, Turkey, Ireland and Romania participated in workshops and theatrical lesson which took place on 28 October in Powszechny Theatre. The classes – within Comenius Lifelong Learning Programme – were conducted in English by Theatre Powszechny actors.

Andrzej Jakubas told about the Powszechny Theatre history and about our painted curtain. Our guests visited backstage as well as acoustic and lightning rooms. During workshops with Arkadiusz Wójcik they had improvisation exercises and could prepare themselves to perform a fairy tale in an unknown language (Norwegian).

 - Powszechny Theatre puts strong emphasis on theatrical education – explains Arkadiusz Wójcik. – The classes are free of charge. They are addressed to everybody who wants to be closer to the theatre – children, pupils, students as well as adults and seniors – all of them can attend lessons and workshops which develop their sensitivity and help in shaping tastes of our spectators.
