Kasia Grabowska receives the Wiesław Nowicki Award

This year it was the fifth time the Wiesław Nowicki Award was given by the Wiesław Nowicki Fund and the City of Łódź Friends Society. The award went this year to Kasia Grabowska, the actress of Powszechny Theatre in Łódź. We are very pleased. Our congratulations, Kasia!

 

Kasia Grabowska has been the Powszechny Theatre actress since 2014. She has her roles in „Brunch”, „Ony”, „Vladimir”, „Virgins”, „My Dad’s a Birdman”, „The School for Wives” and „No Dinner for Sinners”. She also took part in several previews of the Reading theatre for people with poor eyesight and blind.

The aim of the Wiesław Nowicki Award is to suport and reward young Łódź talents of art, film and theatre. It was started to commemorate Wiesław Nowicki, who was a famous and highly regarded film and theatre actor, journalist, theatre director, culture activist, classical music promoter and poet.
