Money makes the world go round!

On 3 December on our Small Stage we presented the 41st preview of the Reading Theatre for people with poor eyesight and blind – the project in which Ewa Pilawska has always directed all plays on a voluntary basis.

This time it was „Don’t Tax Me Too Much Darling” („Cher Trésor”) – the latest comedy by Francis Veber, French film director, screenwriter, producer and theatre playwright. We have already presented two his plays in our Theatre – „The Closet” („Le Placard”) and „Dinner of Fools” („Le Dîner de Cons”).

„Money makes the world go round” sang Liza Minnelli and Joel Grey in „Cabaret” – a famous musical by Bob Fosse. The latest comedy by Veber shows they were right. It does not matter whether you have money or not. It is enough people would believe you have it and your life would turn upside down. It is said you cannot live without money but are we important only because of it? Or maybe it is true that money does not give happiness? François Pignon – unemployed lawyer and abandoned husband – has to find answers to those questions.

Thank you for your presence and we invite you to the next previews.
