New Year’s Eve in Powszechny Theatre

Traditionally we invite you to spend New Year’s Eve in Powszechny Theatre in Łódź.

On that evening at 5 P.M. on our Small Stage we will present “Tu-wim” – a musical journey to the world of poetry and songwriting of Julian Tuwim that has been enthusiastically received in many countries, to mention International Theatre Festival in Sibiu, London and Stuttgart. This performance is addressed to the unemployed – anyone who presents a certificate of unemployment at the booking office is allowed to buy a ticket for one zloty.

At 8 P.M. on our Big Stage we will present our latest production – “Hotel Minister”. It is a classical farce by its master, Ray Clooney. Main hero, deputy minister Ryszard Wolski, is involved in many unexpected and funny complications due to his private aide. A good amusement is guaranteed! After the play there will be many surprises as well as food and drinks and a glass of champagne as an introduction to an exhilarating party.
