On friendship, love and empathy: preview of „Heaven Eyes”

Young people are not only inclined to take everything. They can also give a lot to others. They are very sensitive, they see problems and try to solve them. There are many of them who feel lost, who are overwhelmed by the situation they live in. But it is we, the grown-ups, who should notice them, show our interest, help them to understand themselves. That is why we have been presenting spectacles in the educational project “Child in a situation”. Today we presented another spectacle of the project, a preview of “Heaven Eyes”. This a story about the strength of imagination and friendship and their ability to beat the worst monsters that hide within ourselves, even in the most difficult circumstances.

Tosia (our special “consultant” with whom we have discussed all three spectacles in the project “Child in a situation”) said that “Heaven Eyes” is absolutely the best spectacle of the project. One of the mothers thanked us for, as she said, “the beautiful and clever way we can talk with young people about the most important things, sometimes very difficult things”. After the spectacle there was a workshop “Tame the monster inside you” that was moderated by Andrzej Jakubas together with psychologist Joanna Gruszczyńska. There we talked with young people about love and friendship. Everybody is afraid of something but the fear may be overwhelmed. Everybody has courage that allows him or her to go forward – it is only the problem of finding it. It is the role of the grown-ups as well as creators and artists to talk with young people through art.

Thank all the spectators that joined us today! We invite you to the following spectacles.
