Preview of „No Dinner For Sinners”
We opened the New Year with a great deal of optimism and laughter. On 14 January we presented the preview of „No Dinner For Sinners” – the play by Edward Taylor directed by Jakub Przebindowski. It is another spectacle with maid Nadia – a character inspired by such culkt movies as „Tootsie”, „Mrs. Doubtfire” or „Poszukiwany, poszukiwana”.
„No Dinner For Sinners” is a sequel in our „theatrical miniseries” – in Powszechny Theatre we you can also see „The Maid” and „Boeing, Boeing”, the plays in which Nadia appears – one of the favourite characters of our spectators. – The play sets questions whether and to what extent we depend on others, whether we can trust them, wheter the relations between people are true. In short – it is a spectacle about human hypocrisy – the director says.
Thank you for your presence and for the fantastic atmosphere! It was a wonderful night!
