The aim of Polish Comedy Center is not only to stand up for a modern Polish comedy but for its modern staging as well. That is why the Center tries to be a laboratory where new comedies are contrasted with modern theatre aesthetics and – while staged – with the audience reception.

The following plays were staged in Powszechny Theatre:

- „Psychoterapolitics” by Dominik W. Rettinger, directed by Maciej Sławiński (preview – 8 November, 2008)

- „Next-ex” by Juliusz Machulski, directed by Justyna Celeda (preview – 25 January, 2009)

- „Reshuffle” by Paweł Mossakowski, directed by Maciej Wojtyszko and Paweł Aigner (preview – 25 April, 2009)

- „Kochanowo and Surroundings” by Przemysław Jurek, directed by Aldona Figura (preview – 16 May, 2010)

- „My Son Brother’s Mother” by Juliusz Machulski, directed by Adam Wojtyszko (preview – 23 October, 2010)
