The 53rd preview of the Theatre for people with poor eyesight

L’emmerdeur” by Francis Veber was the 53rd preview of the Reading theatre for people with poor eyesight and blind. The play by a popular French director, screenwriter and playwright, was produced on 8 December on our Small Stage. The comedy was directed – as always – on a voluntary basis by the theatre director Ewa Pilawska, who is the creator of the project.

Thank you for being with us! We want to remind you that from this season on the project of the Reading theatre would reach more people with poor eyesight and blind, especially those who are not able to come to the theatre. It is due to the cooperation of Powszechny Theatre in Łódź and Radio Łódź. You can hear “L’emmerdeur” in Radio Łódź on 12 December at 9 p.m. in the programme “Strefa publiczna”.

Pignon is the main character of many Veber’s plays. A few of them (“Le placard”, “Le dîner de cons”, Cher trèsor”) were produced by Powszechny Theatre in Łódź in the past. This time Francois Pignon is a photographer who, along with hundreds of other journalists, covers the trial of mob bosses. But he is more busy with his personal problems – he is trying to find a way to win the heart of his beloved woman again. His plans interrupt the plan of Ralph – his hotel neighbour. This coincidence becomes more and more of criminal character. Will Pignon win the woman’s heart? Will Ralph realize his plan? And what is his plan about?
