„Bim-Bom-Boom! Workaholic romantic comedy” premiered in Powszechny Theatre

Bim-Bom-Boom – shock therapy, Bim-Boom-Boom – entertaining machine… We opened 2024 with a first presentation of electrifying spectacle of „Bim-Bom-Boom! Workaholic romantic comedy” directed by Michał Walczak. Thank you for being with us!

The spectacle which in an ironic way refers to the Gdańsk theatre Bim Bom and to the 600 hundredth anniversary of Łódź, asks questions on love in the era of algorithms, on job burnout and unpredictable possibilities of artificial intelligence we become more and more depended on. Do we need bimbotherapy and help of a specialist in leaves?  Walczak wrote the play specially for Powszechny Theatre – Polish Comedy Centre. This was another Polish comedy which premiered on our stage.

After the spectacle director Ewa Pilawska thanked the creators. She also mentioned the late MP Iwona Katarasińska-Sledzińska who had died a few days before. Our thoughts were with Ms Katarasińska-Śledzińska who had been working for culture and art since 1989.
