"Hell - Heaven" at the 24th Festival

On 10 June on the Big Stage of Powszechny Theatre in Łódź we presented „Hell – Heaven” directed by Jakub Krofta, produced by the Wrocław Puppet Theatre.  The spectacle which received many awards (among others for Maria Wojtyszko for the script at the 23rd All-Poland Competition for the Modern Polish Drama Staging) was   given a long standing ovation both by young and older viewers. After the spectacle there was a sweet catering for everybody. Thank you for your presence! 

The play is set between earth, heaven and hell. Main hero, the club music DJ, the mother of 7-year-old Teddy, goes to heaven. But soon she realizes that her time is not up yet and that she must do her best to return to earth to her son. While escaping heaven she gets to know a devil that would like to become a man, an archangel who used to be a man and her own father who is now only half the man.
