The viewers of the 27th edition of International Festival of Plays Pleasant and Unpleasant chose their favourites. Here are the results of the Audience Plebiscite (the spectators cast their votes both in a traditional way and by internet):
The Best Performance – „3STRS”, directed by Luc Perceval, co-production of TR Warsaw and The Helena Modrzejewska National Stary Theatre in Cracow
The Best Actress – Oksana Czerkaszyna for her roles
in “3STRS”, directed by Luc Perceval, co-production of TR Warsaw and The Helena Modrzejewska National Stary Theatre in Cracow
and in “Heart of Darkness”, directed by Paweł Łysak (produced by The Zygmunt Huebner Powszechny Theatre in Warsaw)
The Best Actor – Mariusz Ostrowski for his role in “I Wanted To Be”, directed by Michał Siegoczyński (produced by Powszechny Theatre in Łódź)
The following spectacles took part in the competition part of the Festival:
- “The Kennedy Curse” by Jolanta Janiczak, directed by Wiktor Rubin, produced by The Stefan Żeromski Thesatre in Kielce
- “Patient 0” written and directed by Wojtek Ziemilski, produced by The Jerzy Szaniawski Dramatyczny Theatre in Wałbrzych
- „3STRS”, based on Anton Chekhov's “The Three Sisters”, directed by Luc Perceval, co-production of TR Warsaw and National Stary Theatre in Cracow
- “Flights”, based on a book “Bieguni” by Olga Tokarczuk, directed by Michał Zadara, co-produced by Powszechny Theatre in Warsaw and Łaźnia Nowa Theatre in Warsaw
- “Heart of Darkness”, based on Joseph Conrad’s novella, directed by Paweł Łysak, produced by The Zygmunt Huebner Powszechny Theatre in Warsaw
- “I Wanted To Be”, written and directed by Michał Siegoczyński, produced by Powszechny Theatre in Łódź
Spectacles:
- “Odyssey. A Story for Hollywood”, directed by Krzysztof Warlikowski, produced by Nowy Theatre in Warsaw
- „Honour Row”, by Jarosław Mikołajewski, directed by Krystyna Janda, produced by Polonia Theatre in Warsaw
were master performances and it did not take part in the Plebiscite.
The statuettes for the winners have been designed by Wojciech Stefaniak – stage designer and author of theatrical posters.
