The play is a fantasy about people who are close to each other and their meeting in a special historic moment. Hannah Arendt, Martin Heidegger, Karl Jaspers and Walter Benjamin – they all had to stand the test of moral responsibility and / or find a way of escape from death. Hannah Arendt was a Jewish-German philosopher, researcher of totalitarianism. She escaped from Germany to France after the Nazis came to power in 1933. She escaped from occupied France to the USA at the very last moment. She survived.

The performance describes the ways of survival. According to natural descriptions, for most species the only form of life known to them is the struggle to survive. How does this relate to humanity? Do we choose passivity or activity?
