At the beginning it seems to be harmless. It appears in unoffending words, small gestures and gradually becomes a part of our everyday life. We get accustomed to it. We start to treat it as something natural, our acceptance bounds move further and further.

V i o l e n c e. We let it grow, it becomes more and more dangerous, a natural mechanism at home, a foundation of interpersonal relationships, a society model of functioning… It becomes destructive and hard to overcome, appears in extreme forms which we can observe in modern world.

„Rage” is the 12th spectacle of the „Child In a Situation” project. It raises questions why we are not able to stop violence. Why do we permit it? Why do we allow it to grow? Who is a beneficiary of the conflict? Are we able to do anything about it? Are we able to eliminate – and if so, to what extent – the roots of violence?

Offensive words may are used during the spectacle.
