You make a photo, then describe the place where it was taken, tag people who are in the photo, put it into the internet, then it goes around the world and millions can see it. Nowadays everything goes into the internet and its anonymity gives an illusory feeling of power, freedom and impunity. We think we can write or say anything – even things we would never write or say in real world. For Julia and Kuba, just like millions of people, internet is a source of “likes”, popularity, sympathy of others but also a tool of retaliation. Do they realize that nothing is lost on the internet? Are they aware of consequences of a foolish prank at a party? Are they so cruel to do such a thing? Or did they want to get some more “followers”? And is there any hope that cyber-violence, hate and destroying of other people will not go unpunished?
