May a conversation on a dried cake baked by mother-in-law change into a discussion on existential problems? Probably you should ask about it a left-wing voter whose mind is so widely opened that he has voted for right-wing. The question is – do we have enough time? After all our planet is „burning” because of the climate crisis…
In her play „You Shouldn’t Have Said So!” Salomé Lelouch examines modern relations and convetions and asks where the boundaries of our independence are. She raises doubts and makes us think whether we are able to keep our own individuality in a relation with another person. What happens if our opinions differ on such problems as equal opportunities, religion, non-binary, ecology? In her play she examines everyday situations and triggers discussion on controversial subjects. – Lelouch confronts us with important social and cultural subjects and puts them into private, intimate male-female relations provoking both the audience and the creators to search for the answer: if you are in a close relation with another person, do you really have to be careful what you say? – Jakub Przebindowski, the director says.
