Ewa Pilawska

Ewa Pilawska, a theatrologist, has been the Powszechny Theatre director since 13 October, 1995. She has introduced and realized many original projects and ideas: Polish Comedy Centre (and the national competition for modern Polish comedy “Comedywriting”), International Festival of Plays Pleasant and Unpleasant, Reading theatre for people with poor eyesight and blind, Spectacles for the unemployed. She has received numerous awards, to mention the title of the 2017 Man of Lodz, Bronze Medal Gloria Artis, special Golden Mask, Bronze Cross of Merit, Silver Cross of Merit.
