First Polish presentation of „Tutoring In Love” by Flavia Coste, directed by Sławomir Narloch

Despite heavy snowfall on 2 December, „Tutoring In Love” („Alors on s’aime!”) premiered on our Small Stage with the full house. At the first Polish presentation there were guests even from Paris, among them Flavia Coste.

The author of the play (this was not the first time when she visited us) was delighted with the creators’ imagination in telling the story of a mature (27 years together) couple. What can we do in order not to destroy the relation between two people? How can we prevent empathy and mindfulness from changing into indifference and frustration? Why is it so hard to love?    

„Tutoring In Love” is another spectacle in the project of co-operation between our theatre and The Academy of Dramatic Arts in Warsaw. Thanks to the project which was suggested by director Ewa Pilawska students and graduates of the Directing Department of the academy can direct first presentations of comedies on our Small Stage while seeking a modern aesthetics of comedy genre.
