„For All Life” directed by Wojciech Malajkat premiered last weekend

On Saturday, January 2023,  on our Big Stage we showed the world’s first presentation of „For All Life” directed by Wojciech Malajkat. The spectacle is an adaptation of an Italian movie „Per tutta la vita” by Paolo Costella, which was shown in Polish cinemas last year. Director Ewa Pilawska managed to get copyrights very quickly and the rehearsals started.

„For All Life” is a story of four couples who discover that their marriages are no longer valid because they were all celebrated by a man who not a real priest. The couples have to decide what to do next – are the going to say „yes” again or will they try to run away from their marriages and begin their lives from the beginning?

The play puts questions on the nature of our relations, it puts questions on our hypocrisy and selfishness. It is a comedy which does not look a for a real laughter but rather for a deeper thought on our condition.

After the spectacle there was a surprise for Wojciech Malajkat who would turn 60 on Monday. – I could not dream of a better birthday present than today’s spectacle – said the director. We sang him „Happy Birthday!”, there was a piece of birthday cake for everybody. Thank you for being with us that evening!
