Patient 0

„Pacjent 0” is an original spectacle of Wojtek Ziemilski and Wojtek Świeściak – a reaction for the need/pressure of isolation. This is as story about uncertainty, joy and stupidity.

– It is a crazy idea that people should touch themselves in order to get something, to need closeness. We do not have anything instead to replace it,  except for chaos – psychic and moral chaos. Generally we all know we are screwed. So we are looking for scapegoats, “real sources of evil”, because it is fun to have some truth around – says the director and invites for not banal meeting with Patient 0.

„(…) when something goes wrong we try to find out what happened and why. When something goes wrong we try to get to the roots of the evil, to its source. This is what happens with illnesses – we try to find out what we have eaten when we have stomach-ache or who sneezed at us when we get a cold. This is it. This is the thing I would like to be busy today – looking for roots, for the illness’s source. But not in my own life but in the life of others (…)”
