The play is set in a degenerated dental clinic. But it is not a satire about health service. We see a small community that does not function correctly in a tiny restricted space. The hospital becomes a microcosmos where people behave in an absurd, surreal way. Social functions wear away, morality is perverted. Dentists become patients, patients become dentists. „Dryll” has a form of an absurd musical in the black comedy climate. But this apparent light form allows the author to take up important subjects. - The play asks questions about human condition in the world where an individual becomes an object of an experiment. It tells about society that has been manipulated and indocrinated – says Marta Streker, the play’s director.

„Dryl” is the only play by Wojciech Bruszewski, an avantgarde artist connected with Łódź who is considered to be one of the fathers of Polish art video. The play was written for „Comedywriting” – the competition for writing the best contemporary comedy. It is organized by Polish Comedy Centre which has been active in Powszechny Theatre.
