Susan, the main character of „Good things”, is a fifty-year-old divorcee constantly searching for a new love. Her husband left her for a younger woman, she lost her job. Together with her rebellious teenage daughter she had to move to her father, who suffers from Alzheimer’s.
She finds a shelter in her new job – a charity shop, among unnecessary things and people whose life dropped off to the sidetrack. Here, with a youthfull optimism, she starts all over, trying to settle with the past. Here she meets David, inconspicuous math teacher, a widower. But will she be able to actually see him with all the comedy features, coincidents and misunderstandings around?
