„Tutoring In Love” is the second Flavia Coste’s comedy play staged by Powszechny Theatre in Łódź.

- The play is witty and very well written, it is also very modern because it touches the problem of therapies which we use more and more often nowadays. We tell the story of a mature (27 years together) couple in a crisis. They seem to live a happy life but their love apparently has been vanishing. Luckily their neighbour who is editor of the relationships column „Broken hearts” in a glossy magazine for ladies has just invented an original therapy for couples – Sławomir Narloch, the director, says.

Narloch adds that in his opinion a comedy is a real challege for its director. – It is easy to frighten or touch the audience while it is much more difficult to tell simple stories using the language of comedy. Comedies are very necessary because they show that the world has not come to its end and that we need to be together. „Tutoring In Love” tells about a serious problem but I do hope the viewers will find an optimistic message in it; after all the world is not that bad – Narloch says.
