It’s a play about people lost in a maze of words, about the buried alive, overwhelmed with concepts, meanings, past times, lost regrets, photographs, memories. It is a latest text by a Nobel Prize winner Elfriede Jelinek, awarded with the most prestigious German theatrical awards – Mülheimer Dramatikerpreis in 2011, an autobiographical creation about dying. It’s a personal settlement and farewell.
Here the wanderer is setting off on his ultimate travel. Inspired by Schubert’s songs, Jelinek is taking her ultimate travel and also examining her preparation to non-existence.
The play only for adults.
