World Theatre Day 2024

On the occasion of World Theatre Day, on 27 March 2024 we laid a wreath at the monument of Leon Schiller. This has been a wonderful tradition of our community – people connected with the theatre, creators, audience. As always our theatre strong team was there, too.   

„Art is peace”, wrote Jon Fosse, Norwegian writer and playwright, the Nobel Prize Winner, in his message for World Theatre Day. „ We can also add that art is a space of freedom and development. Let theatre be the place for everybody, the place where diversities meet”, says Ewa Pilawska, the Powszechny Theatre director.
